With social distancing and self-quarantine in effect, many of us are spending a lot more time at home than usual and are wondering how to keep ourselves entertained. With our busy lifestyles, we’re so used to being constantly on the go that if can feel completely foreign to have so much down time.

And while it is easy to get bored and feel a little lost, it’s also a great time to relax, unwind, and enjoy your extra time at home with your loved ones. To help you enjoy your time and ward off boredom, we’ve put together a list of fun activities for you to enjoy at home.

Enjoy a home spa day

Since spa trips aren’t an option at the moment, why not indulge in some relaxing DIY beauty treatments? Turn your bathroom into your own personal treatment room and enjoy some relaxing treatments. Epsom salt baths, DIY facemasks and hair masks, foot soaks, body scrubs, pedicures- there are so many ways to give yourself a little pampering right in your own bathroom.

Get back into reading

You know all of those books you’ve been wanting to get to forever but never seem to have the time? Well, now you do! Take a break from Netflix and start making your way through your reading list. It’s such a fun and relaxing activity that many of us just don’t seem to have the time for in the everyday busyness of life. So pour yourself a coffee, grab your coziest throw and a good book and enjoy. You can even take things to the next level by creating your own little reading nook.

We can’t think of anything more fun than eating cupcakes! Dust off your cookbook and whip up a batch of your favorite treats or try out some new recipes you haven’t made before (these are calling our name!). You can also double or triple the recipe and pop the extras into the freezer for later.
