Our Quarantine Reading List

Our Quarantine Reading List

While things are starting to open up and life seems to be slowly returning to normal, many of us still find ourselves spending much more time than usual at home and with more time on our hands. To help you pass the time, we wanted to put together our quarantine reading list to share some of our favorite books that we’re reading right now!

So grab your favorite throw, get cozy in your reading nook, and enjoy!

The Harry Potter series, JK Rowling

Classics! Whether this is your first time diving into the series or your tenth, they never disappoint and are the perfect way to pass the time. The magic of Hogwarts and the wizarding word just doesn’t gets old.

Open Book, Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson’s new tell-all is a juicy behind the scenes look at her life growing up in Hollywood. She doesn’t hold back at all on the details, and it’s a fun read even if you’re not typically a pop culture fan.

The Power of Now, Eckart Tolle

An oldie, but a goodie. If you are finding yourself stressed and overwhelmed during these chaotic times, The Power of Now may just be the perfect antidote. Reminding us that happiness and true peace can only be found in the present moment, Eckart Tolle invites us to return to and rediscover ourselves in the Now.

Wabi-Sabi Welcome, Julie Pointer Adams

This beautiful book introducers readers to a slower, perfectly imperfect way of living, hosting, and entertaining, and is a guide to making friends and family feel loved and at home in your space by infusing mindfulness and quality into your entertaining. Pulling on recipes, décor, and hosting practices in five different countries, it is a beautiful look at a way of entertaining that is in stark contrast to the style touted by most entertaining books.

Untamed, Glennon Doyle

Best Selling author, Glennon Doyle, is back with her third book, Untamed, in which she invites women to leave behind the idea of having to be good, or perfect, and to step into their true selves. Told as a memoir, this is a powerful book that reminds us we have permission to be true to ourselves and that “the braver we are, the luckier we get.”

Midnight Sun, Stephenie Meyer

Twilight lovers, rejoice- we’re getting another book! While the series may have been intended for teens, we all know we loved them (no shame!), and it looks like we’re getting another book in the series. Midnight Sun goes back to the beginning, this time telling the story from the perspective of Edward. It won’t be released until August 4, but we’re already counting down the days!
