Everything You Need to Know
Is this doormat suitable for all-weather outdoor use?
While the A1HC Rubber and Coir Mat is built for durability, it performs best in covered outdoor areas such as porches, entryways, or mudrooms. Natural coir is highly effective at scraping dirt, but prolonged exposure to direct heavy rain or standing water can cause the fibers to darken or the rubber to age prematurely.
Does this coir and rubber mat shed?
All natural coir (coconut fiber) mats experience a small amount of "settling" or shedding during the first few weeks of use. However, our new-generation molded design bonds the fibers deeply into the rubber base, which significantly reduces shedding compared to traditional woven coir mats.
How do I clean my A1HC door mat?
Cleaning is simple and low-maintenance. For everyday dirt, just give the mat a firm shake or a light tap. For deeper cleaning, use a vacuum to pull out trapped sand and grit. Avoid using harsh chemicals or power washing, as this can damage the natural fibers.
Is the rubber backing safe for all floor types?
Yes, our heavy-duty rubber backing is designed to be non-slip and non-marking. It provides excellent grip on stone, concrete, and wood. If you are using it on a delicate indoor surface, we always recommend ensuring the floor is dry before placement to prevent any moisture trapping.
What makes the 23" x 38" size special?
Standard doormats are often 18" x 30", which can look "skimpy" at a front door. Our 23" x 38" large doormat offers a more premium, substantial look that fits perfectly with standard single doors and provides a larger "scrubbing zone" to catch more dirt before it enters your home.
